How do I create a pop up like the one MindValley have used here

When a person tries to navigate away from the they get a pop to be redirected to the newsletter sign up page.
Is this a piece of software that can be bought or is it something I need to have created by a coder?

It's usually a javascript in the page. Just look in the source for the page and you'll find it (and you can download it too).
There are some for sale, though, if you want to spend money.
