Assuming you have good content, and aside from SEO, what other strategies
would you suggest to a new blogger. Please take a look at
http://50besttools.com and let me know what you think.

By the way, I am a Blinklist fan.

I live in Monterrey, Mexico, and if there is anything I can do for you
    guys, just let me know.

To boost your blog audience try this...

    1. Promote every post on Reddit, Digg and BlinkList. Your posts directly appeal to their audience. Some of your posts might also get picked up by editors from top blogs like LifeHacker.com. These editors use Reddit and Digg to source new ideas. One link from a blog like Lifehacker.com could get you up to 20,000 visits.

    2. Allow RSS feeds via Feedburner.

    3. Allow email subscriptions via Zookoda.com

    4. Apply to top blog networks like 9rules.com. Takes a while to get in, but once you do you have a guaranteed audience.

    5. Use tools like Windows Live Writer to make blogging fast and easy.

    6. Hire a good designer.

We;ve done all the above to launch our blog on ecommerce from non-existance to a 9rules member in a span of 6 months.
